Checking the racecards each day trying to find qualifiers is a laborious task. The Flatstats horse racing systems alert feature takes away all that hassle!
Our webservers continually scan the racecards every few minutes and any qualifiers for your systems will be shown on your alerts page. You need never miss a winner again!
The Flatstats alert feature can be used for backing or laying systems. As long as we have data for the rules of your system an alert can be setup.
Examples of Flatstats horse racing systems alerts:
- Back Top Weight Geldings in Claiming Stakes
Alert when a gelding is the top weight in claiming stakes races - 4 Day Winners
Alert when a horse won his last race within the last 4 days - Lay Triple Winners

How To Setup an Alert
If you have read the Snapshot Guide you may have already noticed how to create an alert. All you have to do is to first create a 'snapshot' of data and then tick the box to indicate that you want to be alerted whenever there is a runner matching that snapshot.
1. Create a snapshot
2. Tick the box which says Alert Active: [ ]
3. Set the start and end dates for which you would like the alert to run
4. Click Create or Update snapshot

Once you have created your snapshots / alerts you can also turn the alerts on or off via your alerts page:

In the above example to turn on alerts for sire Pivotal Soft Ground Sprints just click the purple No in the Alerts column to toggle the status. This is useful for when you want to keep an alert but temporarily turn it off such as during periods of wet weather, or when a trainer has gone cold and you want to avoid his runners for a few weeks etc.
Viewing Your Alerts
There are two places where you are indicated to any of your alerts. The first is in the login status box which is displayed on the right hand side of the page.

If you click the orange text which says '1 alert for Thursday' you will be shown the main horse and system alerts page which can also be found here: Horse / System Alerts Page

This is the main horse and system alerts page which you can view to see all your alerts and snapshots which you have previously configured. Here you can change the status of alerts, delete alerts, or request 'manual snapshot / alerts' for more complex systems. Also shown on this page are the full results of backing your alerts. You can see the results for backing every contender during the past 10 years and since your alert went live.
Please note that the Flatstats alerts feature is a free service available to Flatstats subcribers only. Subscribe to Flatstats now and create your alerts today.
