This is the Flatstats Horse Racing Data Download section.
Flatstats subscribers use this page to download Flatstats information in CSV format so that they can use the data in their own database or spreadsheet.
There are currenlty four types of download data available:
- Standard racecard data (horse, sire, trainer form, Flatstats ratings information ...)
- Extra racecard data (jockey changes, class changes, earnings per start)
- Stats Grid data (full wins, runs, places, ROI, A/E for horses, sires, trainers and jockeys)
- Historic racecard data (racecards for previous days / months)

Flatstats Horse Racing Data Help
Basics
The Flatstats Horse Racing Data page allows subscribers to download Flatstats data in CSV (comma separated values) format. This data can then be used in subscribers own databases or spreadsheets such as MySQL, Access, and Excel.
You can choose which fields you wish to download such as basic racecard information (horse name, age, gender, trainer) and more advanced information such as pareto status, and Flatstats ratings data (rating, position in the ratings, raw sire scores).
To download data first select the information you wish to download and then select a date or range of dates you wish to download (usually the information goes back six months). When you click the download button your browser should offer to save the CSV file or load it up in your default spreadsheet.
For the current days racing information you can also 'hotlink' directly to your data. Click on the Direct Link link and the most current data will be available to you. You can either bookmark that link or automate a script in your spreadsheet to retrieve the data.
Standard Racecard Data
The following fields are available on the Standard racecard data download:
| Race Date | The date of the race |
| Race Time | The scheduled start time of the race |
| Course | The course |
| Going | Going code (Hard, Firm, Good to Firm, Good, Good to Soft, Soft, Heavy, Standard) |
| Track Type | Type of surface run on (Turf, Polytrack, Fibresand) |
| Ages | The age range of the race (2yo, 3yo, 3yo+, 4yo+, 3-4yo, 3-5yo) |
| Horse Type | Race Type (Maiden, Novice or none), Genders (Both, Male, Female) |
| Rider Type | Race Type (Amateur, Apprentice, Lady or none) |
| Conditions | Race Type (Claiming, CLassified, COnditions, Selling or none) |
| Hcap/Stks | Race Type (Handicap, Stakes) |
| Prize | The prize for the winner of the race |
| Class (Old) | The Class of the race (Group: 1-3, A-H) |
| Distance | The distance of the race in furlongs rounded to the nearest half furlong |
| Runners | The number of runners in the race |
| Horse Details | Race card number, Horse, Last Ran, Form, Form AW+Turf, LTO Pos |
| Age | The age of the horse |
| Weight | The weight in lbs |
| Headgear | Headgear the horse is wearing (Blinkers, Visor, Eyeshields, Hood, Cheekpieces, Tongue strap) |
| Trainer | Name of the Trainer |
| Jockey | Name of the Jockey |
| Allowance | The allowance claimed by the jockey (0-10) |
| Drawn | The stall the horse is drawn in |
| Pareto Status | Pareto status (Jockey, Trainer, Sire: Y or N) |
| Ratings Data | Flatstats ratings data (Rating, Rank, Probability, Forecast, Jockey Score, Trainer Score, Sire Score) |
| Trainer Form | Flatstats Trainer Form data (TFI) |
| Breeding Info | Horse gender, Sire, Dam, Dam's Sire |
Extra Racecard Data
This download has extra racecard information such as Last Time Out information, jockey changes etc.
Stats Grid Data
This download has 280 columns and contains comprehensive stats information for the horse, sire, trainer and jockey for various conditions such as the course, distance, type of race, type of course. You can choose to download this information for today only or for all races for the past 7 days.
Historic Data
This is the same information as the Standard Racecard Data but allows you to access this information going back many months.
