The snapshots page will show all your snapshots line by line. If you have many different types of snapshots you can choose to filter the list to show only certain types.

The following image is split into two for this guide but on the main snapshots list page it will all be shown in one line.

Each snapshot has eleven columns of information. The first six are described below:
- ID - The snapshot ID. Click this to load up the snapshot
- Alert Status - If you want to be alerted to any contenders for this snapshot click the link to change the status to Yes
- Type - Shows which stat this snapshot is based on
- Code - The code which this snapshot is to be used on
- Name - The name of the snapshot
- System / Notes - This is where you can enter notes about your snapshot

- Start / End - This is the start date and end date for the snapshot. You can choose to start a snapshot sometime in the future, and set it to end whenever you want.
- W-R - The next four columns show the results of backing all contenders. This first column shows the Wins-Runs
- Win% - The Win% or strike rate
- A/E - This is the A/E or 'value index'. You can read more about this stat in the Horse Racing Stats Guide
- ROI% - The profit or loss in percentage terms
Each results column has two lines. The top line shows the results since the snapshot 'went live'. The second line shows the results for the past ten years. The live date is the date from when you selected the snapshot to start.
Starting with the first entry in the list this shows the Pivotal snapshot created earlier. The snapshot ID is 7175, we have selected not to be alerted to any contenders, this is a sire snapshot with the name and notes as entered earlier.
In this example the live results for Pivotal are 0-0 as we only created this snapshot today. As the weeks go by the results for this snapshot will be shown on this screen. Showing the results in this way indicates if your snapshot has continued to do the same as you had initially found.
The second snapshot in this list is a horse snapshot. This has been configured to alert when ever the horse Diktatorship runs on the flat turf. So far the horse has had 8 runs but 0 wins. Since the snapshot was first created on 13th May 2006 (the live date) he has run once and did not win.
The third snapshot is a jockey snapshot which tracks Jason Edmunds on the all weather. This was a feature of the February Newsletter. The alert was created at that time and the results show that Edmunds has won as frequently as expected but hasn't had winners priced big enough to return a profit yet.
The fourth snapshot monitors Sir Michael Stoute horses having their first run of the year. This snapshot has done well hitting a 35% strike rate since going live and returning a 19% profit.
The last snapshot in the list is a manual snapshot. This is one which can not be created automatically and will require Flatstats to manually create database rules to find contenders. You can use this for obscure system rules which are not covered by the standard stats pages. In this example the snapshot is monitoring:
- 3yo Maiden Stakes in January
- Colts and Geldings
- Horse last ran on turf (previous turf season)
This snapshot did well this year but will not find any contenders until next January.
