Racemeeting Information
Part of the Where Can I Find? tutorials for the Flatstats website.
Which race has the highest prize money for today?
Which jockey has the most rides today?
Where can I find out if a trainer has 2 or more runners in a race?
Many systems are based on information such as principal meetings, race prize money, or jockey mounts. These are systems which in order to find qualifiers you have to find the best meeting, or the most valuable race of the day.
Finding such races can be a labourious task as you have to scour through a newspaper racing section, or browse up and down online racecards, in order to find this information. You can speed up this task though by using the Flatstats Meetings Summary information box.
This information is available on all the 'Today's Info' pages such as the Racecards page, Ratings page, and Daily Systems page. To see the information just click the option for 'Show Meetings Summary'.

The meetings summary info box shows that on this day there are 3 meetings, 22 races, 254 declared runners and 24 non runners.
The Prize Money section lists meetings in order of total 1st place prize money. This is useful for identifying the principal meeting of the day. For today Southwell is offering the most prize money (£30,900) with Bath next and Kempton third.
Also shown are the prize money for individual races. The 3:40 at Southwell has the highest prize money (£9.3K) whilst the race with the lowest prize money is the 3:30 at Bath (£1.9K).
The Jockeys section shows jockeys with the most rides today. S Drowne and R Hughes both have 8 rides.
Also shown are pro (non claiming) jockeys who are having just 1 ride today.
The Trainers section shows trainers with the most horses running today. R Hannon and Mrs A J Perret both have 6 horses running.
Also shown are trainers with 2 or more runners in a race. In the 4:00 at Bath M Botti has 2 runners, in the 8:50 at Kempton P D Evans has 2 runners etc.
If you like to follow systems based on principal meetings, jockey mounts, or trainer entries you should find this information useful.
